Off we go again
Okay, we are back on track. New turn is up!
P.S.: Wait a second, I'll have to start the timer again...

Re: Off we go again
Can we kill the timer on this game again? We've been running on a pretty relaxed pace, and Rev Zombie (Helheim) posted in another thread that he couldn't find a sub, he just needs a few days.

Re: Off we go again
I'll turn off the timer next turn in case he risks to go stale, yes. But he played his turn this time already.
C'tis is already out of the game and it looks as if two other players are soon to be removed. I'm sorry, I didn't know that the map is this unbalanced when I proposed it, it's certainly looking nice. But it pits C'tis and Ulm against Kailasa and Caelum, which both have no means to defend against an early elephant rush, I think (which I chose not to do, but still), and Vanheim and Helheim have farmland and easy prey, too. Sorry for this imbalance and big props to LeSquide who played it out until his end.

Re: Off we go again
I knew this map was inbalanced when I started it. I took Marverni just for the challenge. They are surrounded only by forest and are in a location where they can easily be boxed in.
Still I am very sruprised that everyone has lasted so long. Usually in a MP some nation gets knocked out well before this.

Re: Off we go again
Grrrrrrr, I thought I disabled the timer in this game? Now I staled myself, it seems.
Oh well, I guess I'll manage. Reverend Zombie / Helheim said that we could set him AI or let him stale as he won't be able to take turns until Monday. Does anybody have anything against turning off the timer until then, instead (thus losing about one hosting)?

Nah, it fits the pace of the game, I don't mind waiting a bit.

Re: Off we go again
Big props to Marverni, too. Darrel is fighting it out to the end. It is the honorable way to die. No easy victories!!
I have no problem with pausing this game. This one is moving at a slow and stately pace anyway. I will be on vacation from July 13-17, by the way. That's next weekend.

Kailasa doesn't have elephants, and I didn't exactly rush C'tis.

Re: Off we go again
Oh, didn't know that, then I take that back. The map still seems a little uneven and I just wanted to apologize for that.

Re: Off we go again
It sure is a beautiful map though. Too bad it is uneven.
