We realize that education is not the strong suit of "Barbarian Kings", so we will clarify (using small words):
You're holding the map upside-down. The "N" goes at the top.
The old palace is being held by sushi-slurping, sake-swilling, silly samurai. We still occupy the summer palace in New Ulm, downriver and south of old Ulm. (After the glorious transcendence of our god, there was really no need to stay in old Ulm anymore.)
Your hordes occupy one of our many guest houses. We understand how it looks like a palace if you're used to living in animal skins stretched over sticks.

Re: Turn 31
While our Ulmish neighbors would like you to believe they have left the "Black Forest" and their savage ways behind them for a more sophisticated urban lifestyle, Jomon was shocked to find that behind the architecturally stylish walls of Old Ulm, we discovered lunatics singing praises to a bird bath filled with blood.
We were horrified to say the least and happy to report we knocked over the bird bath.

Re: Turn 31
I've heard that the odd lords of Ulm also did unspeakable things to their pet squirrels and geckos in private! Wash the ceilings and remove the staples!

Re: Turn 31
Indeed, it seems I have overreacted. I have done that quite a bit of late. I apologize for my comment about complaining Aezeal, but I am still going to cut open every Midgardian I come across.

Costa Rica!!
Hey all, I'm off to Costa Rica for a week! I've left my nation in the capable hands of Micah, in case you need a contact. I'll be thinking of all the brave armies of dom3 clashing while I am drinking mai-tais on the beach

Patch
Hi:
It looks like the current patch is available. Please remember to play your current turn in this game before you apply the patch, unless you decide to have more than one copy of the game on your computer (one with the current patch and one without). I would like to wait until tonight to decide whether to use the patch for this game. If players have thoughts, please post them in the thread.
Thanks.

Re: Patch
In the RAND game, some players suggested that we wait a few days before patching for this game. It is not uncommon that little problems creep up from the patches. I recommend that players have more than one version of the game on their computers (patched & not patched), which is very easy to do. Just copy the program file before patching.
