Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
Well, it was fun while it lasted. I wonder how many troops I could have fielded instead of 86 PD... upkeep probably would have devoured me, though. But it was fun to watch.

Madnesss? Thisss isss C'tissss!!!
I haven't watched the Ulm news broadcast today, but I suspect that there will be an emergency meeting of the central committee to revise growth estimates following the destruction of the "5 year stone industry plan"- a novel development initiative headed by an eponymous gargoyle, based on increasing stone reserves by turning enemies into stone via magic artifact. The loss of said artifact will no doubt prove a great embarrassment for the party leadership.

Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
Yes, our 5 Year Stone industry plan was a novel and in many ways revolutionary initiative indeed. The next such plan will have greatly increased magic resistance. As soon as we get that Sword back that is
OOC: RAAAAGGGEEEE my SC getting punked by a Ctis Shaman that casted "Opposition" in turn 20 or so...
However, the party leadership is optimistic, in the 2 battles for Ctis, the most awesome and revolutionary forces of Ulm lost a total of 13 commanders and 150 troops, while the antiquated troops of Ctis were loosing a total of 28 commanders and 250 troops.

You wont be getting the sword back...at least not from C;tis . But otherwise your confidence is warranted- you have indeed decimated by forces, and I dont have any more tricks up my sleeve.

For the record, I am VERY impressed that you have lasted as long as you have - respect! :-)
The fact you cause Lung Drago to have to write a rage cartoon about you in the process only makes it all the sweeter IMO

Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
Mine's in (decided to do it when I woke up, hopefully less stupid mistakes this way), but I saw Pangaea's was still missing.
With respect to Pan, I did give him a +6h extension but that was more because I think we need to decide what we are going to do. Constantly extending the turns for one guy who never communicates probably isn't sustainable. What are people's thoughts?
EDIT: After all that, Pan's turn is in too - yay!

Re: I Need More Power! - yet another MA newbie game - Running
Im confused- why do I suddenly have a black knight in my garrison at C'tis ? I don't remember him being there last turn....
Also, why wasn't I reborn this turn? My dominion is still positive...

I have a Manish doggie in one of my garrisons, and I likewise have NFI where he came from. (I assume he is seeking refuge from the female oppression of Lucy?)
Not too sure what has happened with your immortal dude being reborn, either. Sorry :-(

I am a bit amazed about your dominion still being positive too.
Concerning your garrison, didnt you cast enslave person in the battle at your cap?
Also, did Man just overwrite its own Mother Oak?
