Rise of the Giants
Riddles are all very well..
Here's some concrete information:
Niefelheim have just taken MA Pythium's capital.
LA Utgard took EA Arcoscephale's capital.
Check the score graphs. The two giants both had a huge increase in gem income, even managing to push the impressive MA Oceania into third place.

Re: Oceania sells trinkets :o)
(burp) (odor of elephant burger)
The nations of Arcos spend too much time in their libraries reading treatises on war written by frail sages who witnessed the hardened warriors of the north slaughter their golden curly haired soldiers, whose only reason for joining the legions was to impress some lass. You should spend your days trying to establish a preserve for your precious elephants for they have become a staple in the Utgardian diet.
We giants are the destroyers of civilization, the burners of books, the eaters of the weak. We call on all our giant kin to tear down your walls and silence your philosophical yammering. Grrr...

We think too much mead has clouded what little wits your race had to start with. Elephant burgers indeed. Most likely some moose you poached from Jotunheim! Do to your drunken thievery of your neighbor"s herd, you likely started a border war with your fellow giants!

Mammoths!
The EA Vans have observed a horde of agressive Mammoths nearing their drinking hall in the nation's capital. Their leaders have ordered them to stop partying for a few days to swat some annoying LA bird men.
Coming between a Van and his mead and ladies is never going to be a pleasant experience - though we hope to score a few nice new cloaks.

Encyclopedia Brown
Wits are overrated stargazer. Before you look to your encyclopedia for consolation, you may want to ask little brother how effective his books were at stopping the bite of the woodsmens axe.
You are lucky your close relation with the creator of the universe placed you out of our immediate reach or surely you would be wetting your shiny gold codpiece. But I am sure some of our brothers in your neighborhood will take offense at your insinuation that we are somehow less intelligent (not unlike the GEICO caveman). We are simply bigger in all respects.

Enough Words!
When our races meet we will see which race can fight and which cannot. Until then, try to stay alive Utgard, because we cannot exact vengeance nearly so well on the dead as the living.

Hinnom Awakens
The oracle of the Grigori can understand a dual invasion, but complacency among her ranks annoys her. Hinnom will remedy that and grow rich on land.
