Re: Great Forum, game running
Well just look at us, back from the cusp of death if only to ensure vengeance before we go.
Dragging out our survival as long as we can enabled us to enact some all-out diplomacy (and a measure of luck) to ensure our malefactors burn alongside us. Our victory is already forfeited, but we're sure as hell having fun bringing our enemies to hell with us.

Re: Great Forum, game running
@Admin - could you delay hosting until sunday evening? I'm out of town.
About survival: I have seen a tiny nation rising from ashes after being attacked by major powers. Sometimes it's fun to have just a few provinces. Then you're able to really focus on you troops and pick the right spells for each battle. Making a hell for your opponent means that he will lose significant amount of time and resources trying to finalize you.. he might even lose major battles at the other fronts - what more can you want, when you want to have a revenge?

Re: Great Forum, game running
Dear participants!
I think the banning of private conversations was a interesting experiment (for me). As I see it, this rule kills most of the conversation. I'd like to spice up the game by lifting the ban: I believe there will be more talk, more human contact, more planning and discussing, intriguing, more emotions, which I think would make the game more interesting, more sparkling, more fun. I understand there are reasons versus this change, but i consider the pro-reasons outweigh them.
U all signed up for this game with the rules set, so i wont change it without consensus: everyone has the right to veto it until december 5, 12:00 GMT.
awaiting ur opinion,
earcaraxe

Re: Great Forum, game running
I do not think that this rule has blocked that much diplomacy in this game.
Anyway, this is too late (And my vote is no). Everybody (except one of course) must consider that the only way to play since Bandar Log and Shinuyama has been defeated (partially or not) is to fight Machaka as soon as possible in order to destroy this monster. Even Jotunheim must help, all the other nations have borderline with the enemy.
There will be diplomacy after, if we survive the hideousness.

Re: Great Forum, game running
Because there is no need to talk about the duty to attack and defeat Machaka. We must do it right now if we do not want to get taken out by Lihaassa very soon.
I call upon every nation to break treaties and attack Machaka right now from everywhere.
I am doing this this turn. The NAP I have with Lihaassa is broken on turn 50. Attacks may happen on turn 54.
You all should do the same and attack everywhere. Finalgenesis, you should take all your time, resource and energy to help us from distance. Let's destroy those ugly spiders.
For people who do not want to help or think they can benefit from getting out of this Duty, do not expect victory one second, it would be ridiculous to think resisting Machaka one by one. By tearing us apart with such behavior, you are going to offer victory to the Black Sorcerers.
We'll see after that. It will be time to discuss... That is what I meaned.

Re: Great Forum, game running
I think u are using my proposition as an opportunity to agitate versus machaka. No problem with the latter, but i dont think there is any connection between the two.

Absolutely, that only was the opportunity of saying something I was wondering about since Grijalva defection. Sorry to pollute your proposal.
