Re: The ssecret\'s out...
Yeah right .
Actually the militaries interest in those products listed (included WDK2K) came without prodding from us so you would have to ask them .
I think SB's and BCT's usefulness as training tools are self evident.

Re: The ssecret\'s out...
quote: Now I dearly love WDK 2K, but even so I'm surprised the military is looking at it. Especially the air force, given that WDK doesn't include elevations. Any idea how they plan to use it in their training?
My understanding is that the Air Force is pissed that there aren't any strategy simulations of modern day air combat. They think that with some changes 2K may work. Of course they may change their mind after eval, but that's my understanding...

Re: The ssecret\'s out...
Of course there was the article awhile back on strat+ where some portion of the airforce was doing some work with Starcraft.
Go figure...

Re: The ssecret\'s out...
I do believe this is one of the oldest threads in this forum. Brought back from the depths by a seriously board Atrocities.
Ah how far we have come since the first days of the Demo. How many of you remember the day the Demo was availible for download? I do.
That 100 turn limit SUCKED!

Re: The ssecret\'s out...
Let me put it this way.
There's only been three games I've reloaded onto my computers as I trade them up...
MOO2
HMM2/3
SEIV
There's only one game I've reloaded three times...
SEIV.

I do to, and yes the 100 turn limit did suck.
Do you remember all the threads about hacking the limit... I bet there were more than 20 threads in the first 2 months...
And IMO SEIV was definitely a winner!

What gets me is that all of the old time posters, the guys who were discussing the game here long before I registared have all but gone.

Tampa Gamer is eagerly waiting to beta-test SEV while he rides his children on his knees.
