The AI is funny. My troops come up to a pack of Icthyids, mixed net throwers and shield carriers. Guess which squad my archers decide to shoot at? Yeah, they fling all their arrows uselessly at the shielded guys and let the net guys chew up my troops.
OK, time to switch tactics for a while. I have to protect myself from the AI's stupiditly.

anyone else having trouble getting their turns? i keep having to go to llamaserver and requesting resend, even though i have not gotten it yet

No trouble here; the only problem I've had is indies killing my monkeys. Elephants do a much better job

oddly, i have received 6 turns correctly, and two never showed up. last turn came in ok. as long as i remain vigilant, i should be ok.

I think there is quite a high number of provinces to players, which makes people less inclined to early war. The positioning is interesting; we are quite bunched up in the northwest, whereas Ermor and Mictlan I think have a large area to themselves. The south continent I know less about, I know Abysia and Marignon are there in some configuration, and I assume Bandar is down there too, but that is guesswork.
