Is this an always thing, or just intermitant. What browser do you use?

EDIT: I think I know what was causing that problem Gpa. Tell me if it works now.

Geo, this is an "all the time" thing. And it still doesn't work for me. I get the redirect page then the not found page.

Please don't worry about it, it is probably my antique browser (Netscape 4.79), OS (Win 95), and hardware (P 133), a problem I plan to correct by spring.

Confirmed, I can't get to the site either, using both IE & Mozilla.
Unable to ping the site too.

Actually the redirect page at seiv.pbw.cc is down now. I am not sure what's up with that. The actual temp site that you get redirected to is up still. That's at home.covad.net/~geoschmo

You should be able to get that to work Gpa. Let me know.

Anyone else get the feeling Geo lives in an area were there is one and only one provider of high speed net access? I'll bet with a bit of healthy competition the connection could be moved just a wee bit faster.

Oh, I think anyone could have made that mistake...who's to know about those sort of things unless you've gone through it before, Geo.

Any comment I made was directed toward all the readers about when representatives of the phone company tell you something, official or unofficial. THAT'S when you need to cock an eyebrow...

Apparently, something has changed.
seiv.pbw.cc is resolved to 66.28.187.248, which has a 2 lines long web page saying "No web site is configured at this address."...
