Re: Game: Hidden Signs (in progress)
Is Atlantis still with us? I can't tell if they're staling or not.

Re: Game: Hidden Signs (in progress)
Atlantis staled last turn, and I think he's going to bring us to the 48 hour limit again as it appears that Emor is taking his turn.

Re: Game: Hidden Signs (in progress)
I'm out, so its not an issue anymore.
Can anyone tell me what happened last turn? I staled and the next turn had much of army gone.

Re: Game: Hidden Signs (in progress)
I concede complete and utter defeat to Emor. This was my first time playing LA Ry'leh and I wasted a bunch of money/time in the beginning that should have been better spent raiding their territories and building chaff for my solar brilliance strategy in the late game.
I also had an idea, far too late, of building a SC out of a golem, sending him in with a guy who could cast solar brilliance without passing out, and then having the solar brilliance guy run away while the golem pounded on their army.
A 2 man 2000 strong undead army destroyer.
Unfortunately Emor now has access to antimagic, and their army is gigantic. Despite killing about 2000 of their units, I haven't even made a dent.
I'm going to remain in the game as long as it amuses me to try out some new stuff, then I'll set myself to AI.

Re: Game: Hidden Signs (in progress)
You need spell penetration items on your guys. It gets resisted by magic protection, and protection of the seucplher or however you spell it, raises that.

Re: Game: Hidden Signs (in progress)
Here the bad guy......
Seriuslly, I am really a very defensive player and I have not started any war.....I must congratulate the alien for his diplomacy, he convince alwais someone to die for him...
Ulm has give me a lesson about strategy and how to fight against ermor(what was my main objetive when I chose ermor), solar brillance is a good spell but not against protection from the sepulcre and less convinate with antimagic.... I really dout it is the rigth way
To be honest I consider the game will be winned by mictan or arcocephale depending their diplo, I have low chances as it is inherent to ermor, is a killing nation untill some one think outside the box.

Re: Game: Hidden Signs (in progress)
Actually solar brilliance is fine, but I needed to get access to to earlier and I needed to build more chaff. I was also going to combine solar brilliance with earthquake spam, which would have been devastating.
I also took someone's advice, which was a bad idea, and built my pretender into a SC chassis. I never used him as such. In retrospect I would have simply taken either a site searching/researching pretender, or better scales. I found myself wanting for money towards the middle-late game.
