Re: Tourney of Champions - Map Chosen!
Sure, however, I do agree with homer that if a player loses the first 3 games, he is unlikely to continue. So what I am going to suggest is complicated, but a good suggestion along Ironhawks line.
We run the games staggered, and just process 10 turns for each.
So the schedule would be:
Games1 & 2: First 10 turns. then..
Games3&4 : First 10 turns
Games 5&6: First 10 turns.
Games 1&2 2nd 10 turns
Games 3&4 2nd 10 turns..
.
.
.
.
Once we hit turn 40, we process in groups of 2 - to keep the tension up, and to keep everyone trying... and uncertain who to gang up on.
Games 1&2: Turns 40&41
Gaems 3&4 Turns 40 & 41
Games 5&6 Turns 40 41
Games 1&2: Turns 42-43
Gaems 3&4 Turns 42-43
Games 5&6 Turns 42-43
And of course we adjust turn times as needed.

Re: Tourney of Champions - Map Chosen!
That's unworkable complex. I just want to get my game turn, do it, and submit it.
If that's your "final product" for turn processing, I'm out.
Really, Chris, just make a decision already.

Jazz, I'm just trying to get 6 people. Lets assume we are using Ironhawks rules, lets start getting pretenders in!

Re: Tourney of Champions - Map Chosen!
Problem with the map. Province 23 is a "sea" province. It should clearly be a land province.

Re: Tourney of Champions - Map Chosen!
You are in my man.
As with all competitors, you will rotate among all 6 nations.
Right now, you are scheduled to be EA- Sauromatia in the first game.
However, as no one has uploaded pretenders yet, you can change that within the next day or so. However, I'm not changing the map any further, so you have to choose a land nation if you wish to change.

Re: Tourney of Champions - Map Chosen!
Chris, are you sure you fixed the map on the first post? I think it still has the sea province in spot 23

Re: Tourney of Champions - Upload Pretenders!
Bump, yeah I'm sure I updated the front zip, and llama has graciously updated the Toc(x) games with the corrected .map.
So... start uploading!
