Interesting to see two nations take a second province on turn one - without getting anyone into the Hall of Fame. Wouldn't think it was possible, since the experience alone for a battle should get them into it.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to... well, I wouldn't do THAT. But I thought it was interesting how I came into a province on turn 1.

Re: Sunken_Treasure : New Shahrivar game on Moseha
The answer is too simple - I had a castle neighboring starting prov. Or maybe I missed some specific rule about not capturing indy provinces with castles?

Re: Sunken_Treasure : New Shahrivar game on Moseha
Yep, that was it, there was a castle in a neighboring province, and I went to investigate, and the enemy is afraid and inside the castle, waiting for me to rip them to shreds. But no experience for single handedly taking a province. Darn.

Re: Sunken_Treasure : New Shahrivar game on Moseha
Ah, the good old castle "feature", which causes issues for maps that want to contain castles. Hadn't realized there were castles - thought it might be the "0 troops in independent province regardless of independent strength setting" feature. (I've seen starting positions with multiple neighbors containing no troops, despite a high independent setting.)
They're both more than a little inconvenient for MP games.
