fyi, I didn't make a shovel 'yet' but I did create the following.. all rank insignias, Ank, Happy/Sad mask, Beer, Mushrooms, Bread, Heart, Brain, Skull, Trophy, Eyeball, se4 population icon, Planet, Computer, Home.
Voila!..
I'll do more as time permits. It should be fun to have these unique icons in this forum.
Cheers!

Very nice. Some suggestions besides SE IV races as smilies:
A little 'nuke' (mushroom cloud) -- perfect for the kinds of discussions we have around here.
Take the skull and add the little crossbones under it for the classic 'pirate' (and poison) symbol. Ok, you might have to shrink the skull a bit to fit the crossbones in.
We might even have a use for a 'biohazard' symbol. The green thing?
An imitation of the red 'star' image from the SE III logo. It's a classic image and we'll surely find uses for it.
Some other stars and planets in the simplified SE III manner wouldn't hurt either.
And some of the images from the SE IV menu buttons would be cool to have, also. The 'science' flask, the 'imperial' crown (obviously it has to be distinct from the administration 'crown' you've already got), the colony dome, and the spaceyard wrench would all be nice to have for conversations here. We could use them to mark discussion topics as well as in our Messages.

Re: Changes to Boards - please read as we go along
I've tried to upload the imagemod packs, but I'm getting "We cannot proceed.
All of the required fields are not filled in. "
It worked fine with a single image, but the packs are failing.
Is it a timeout?
Is the limit smaller than the stated 30,000,000 bytes?
Any ideas?

I am quite unhappy with the new board.
Using the port 81 forbid me to access it in the daytime.

Re: Changes to Boards - please read as we go along
At work I get a:
Proxy Access Denied
Access to this site has been denied. The website you are attempting to access operates on a non-standard network port.
Internet standards reserve specific network ports for specific network services. The site you attempted to access violates these standards, (e.g. https site run on port that is not 443, http site run on port less than 1024 that is not 80) .
Also the new format is a pain. Other sites list the Last pages, even the END page, in the go-to bar.
I know my useage is down. I bet all of the traffic is down.

For the sake of my eyes, go back to 12 point or let us choose. Please.

In the display preferences of My Home, there are now alternate style sheets to choose from that have larger font sizes.
I noticed that quoting a post now includes the user's name in bold, italicized font.
Thanks ^ 2 Richard!
