Installing v1.91
Did anyone ever find a work-around for installing v1.91 when if gives that "you don't have the proper Version" error and suggest reinstalling the game?
I know reinstalling the game works, but this computer isn't my home computer, and I don't have my cd with me...

Re: Installing v1.91
does W2k do multiple file systems?
We have a similar problem in another game and Im thinking its because WinXP can do NTFS, FAT, and FAT32 file systems. Wouldnt that mess up the Md5 checksums?

Re: Installing v1.91
I believe that it was concluded a while ago that this problem has to do with issues with the time stamps on the executable. It is a problem with the patch setup program MM uses, and there is nothing they can do to fix it, other than use a new patching system.
Win 2000 supports all of the Windows file systems.

It was a time stamp issue. Most of us had to re-install SEIV before applying the 1.91 patch.

Re: Installing v1.91
As was already said, it's the time stamp. Damn winter/summer time. Your exe is just exactly 1 hour off from what the patch wants. No way around it except for reinstalling or get the exe with the correct time stamp from home.

Re: Installing v1.91
what about re-patching with the Last patch? tweaking the daylight-savings-time option during the patch install?

Re: Installing v1.91
Problem solved!
Changing the modified time on the file by 1 hour does the trick and allows the patch to update the Version on your pc.
I found a program that does it. It's called Filename Magic Pro. You can google that, or something else like it. I am sure there are others that will do the job, that's just the first one I found and tried.
