To the artist of Dominions

I know that this is far from a priority....but, I am going to ask if you will consider this (if you can, even)...

Myself, I love collecting wallpaper from the games I am currently playing, or at least in theme of the game(s) I am currently playing.

Now, here is my question...not sure which one of you guys are the artist actually...but are you pretty good with normal pictures (fantasy artwork)? I would love to have some wallpaper for my desktop screen that features soem of the Dominions creatures and Pretenders...also of battle-action artwork....

But, if you don't have the time, or you are more proficient at computer graphics, I understand....just thought i would ask...

Again, I know that this is not a priority, so please, don't send me back to the stone age for asking....but I think it would be cool....

is there drastically something wrong with asking for artwork from the artist of a game i like? is there something wrong with that?

You invade my thread, insult me....how old are you? and i don't mean age, i am asking how old you are in practicing common decency....

What did this thread have to do with you?

What have i done to you, to incur your remarks? Why do you insist on coming onto my thread, and insulting me?

Richard, Psitticine...this is what i am talking about concerning certain individuals on these Boards...this is about the game (the artwork, the artists visual perceptions on the game), and all i did was make a simple request...and this is what i get?

That wasn't necessary.

Another comment like that and your gone. There is no reason to insult people "How old are you" when they ask a simple question.

I am 40 years old and I would love to have Dominions wallpaper for my desktop. At the moment I have "Silent Storm" wallpaper as I eagerly await my UK Version of the game to arrive.

For me wallpaper, trailers, screen shots, and previews are all part of the package especially when awaiting the release of a game.

I'm 33 and I'd also love some Dominions II wallpaper.

In fact, I'm now thinking (once I'm have some breathing space) of doing some Dom-themed artwork of my own.

I'm 29 and if I didn't have the artistic talent of a rock I would make some Dom II wallpaper.

I'm 33 and would not mind a nice wallpaper, either. On the other hand, people do tend to call me childish, hmm..

(old ISP customer support for webmaster questions kicking in)

If you hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard it will copy your screen as a cut-n-paste image. Open a paint program and "paste" it into the blank page, then save it.

You can set that as a background. And there are free programs to make screen savers. You can even create a roating screen saver and even an animated movie one.

If anyone wants to tackle this Im sure they can be offered on the Dominions web sites that are up.

Now on to the next question..... hats, t-shirts, mousepads, mugs, clocks. Also amazingly simple and available to anyone who wants it. Illwinter, Shrapnel, anyone with a web site or thinking about one. Go to www.cafepress.com which is sooo easy. All you provide is the graphic and cafepress will provide the pages to buy and ship the products.

i am not really talking about screenshots though....what i would like to have is actual artwork....for desktop wallpaper...

Like the details of the units...or battles....

I don't know...I just like fantasy artwork for one thing, and when it portrays a game i really enjoy, it makes the pics that much better to me....plus, i really love to come home and see some great artwork (i use a program called WallMaster, it changes the wallpaper at a set amount of time, for my pc, i have it set to change every 2 minutes...)
