Game Statistics Manager Utility
I like keeping all of my Dominions II scores around for later viewing. I have made a small program that can be set to capture the stat files generated when you use the --scoredump switch from the 2.11 patch. I am making it freely available in case others like would also like to keep track of their scores. This is not a polished program and I will be adding to it as time allows (I develop professional utilities during my spare time and program for a living, so I don't have a lot of time for these little side projects). Hopefully it will be as useful for some of you as it is for me.
There are a few extra stats not reported in the dump file that you can keep track of manually and enter into the DB (sometime I plan on adding a form for that).

Re: Game Statistics Manager Utility
Thanks. Havent looked at it yet. Will it eventually be able to recreate the scoreboard that is inside the game showing progression? Or something like a slideshow of pie-charts smoothly going from one to the next showing how leadership has shifted.
This is one of the things that were asked for in the "3rd Party apps wishlist" if you want any more projects http://www.shrapnelgames.com/cgi-bin...=001628#000000

Re: Game Statistics Manager Utility
Yes, it has the score graphs like in the game. You can do them for a stat across 1 or more games and for multiple stats on 1 game. The graphs don't look quite as sharp as in DOM2, but it is only using MSChart. Other options may be added if I there seems to be an interest in them, and if I have the time.

Re: Game Statistics Manager Utility
This could be run for hundreds of games which have just computer opponents. Then a list could be calculated to show which nations the computer opponents play the best.
I bet Ermor is on top.

Re: Game Statistics Manager Utility
Ermor is on top so we usually made tests without Ermor.
Who do you think was the most successful AI at normal settings (without Ermor that is)?

I dont understand your point mentioning that here.
They do get more forts by events or site-finding so it is still a factor.

Hmm Im tempted to use --allbutermor and --scoredump and --superhost to get an answer. Im guessing that map-size and indept setting still should apply. Im guessing Ulm usually, and maybe Arcos on large/long games

Bad one. It might be something that can kill lots of light infantries, but that would lose versus heavy infantry armies... And undead fare quite well versus light infantries if there are no priests.
I'll say C'tis.

Re: Game Statistics Manager Utility
An update to the Utility is available now. If the option is checked it will backup turn files as well as processing the stats.
