Crown of Darkness

Plague hits, kills about 1/2 of the populace, i think 50+ death gems - but an obscure reference to a 'Crown of Darkness' in the province?

Is this just flavor text or is there now a site that can be uncovered?

Hrrrnk. In the Linux binary, 'Crown of Darkness' appears in the midst of the list of sites, so it seems possible. I've never had that event, 'tho.
If it's an actual site, you should be able to figure out what it does by making a tiny map with it as a knownfeature.

Hmm i need to figure it out exactly before the next server turn in the Net Server game im in . Yea, it happened in my capital. Oh the joy.

How do i fix a particular magic site to a province in the editor? Notepad time?

'k, I got home and checked it out using a mini map designed by Gandalf.

It's a Death site, not a low-level one judging from the picture, which gives a 40% Thaumaturgy bonus, 3 death gems per turn, and spreads deadly diseases.

Excellent work friend, saved me a lot of time. Those Death Gems will come in handy, although i might have to relocate my researching crew to an adjacent castle. Well, it was nice having a capital .

As mentioned, the Crown of Darkness is an actual magical site, but I don't think it has appeared in your province because of that random event: It's just a rumor.
