Good going. What were the indepents set at? The default of 3? Thats a rought default and I wish we could get it changed. Setting it to something like 6 or 6 makes for an eaiser game.

Next step is to try a game playing Ulm, and leave out the water nations and Ermor as opponents. They are special cases that should only be tackled later.

playing micti I find indie 6 quite hard as the ammount of xbow and heavier troops that appear in the provs is quite rough in comparison to 5.

My main experience with the str's though is in line with Gandalf, at indie 3 I frequently got walked all over by AI's with advantagous starting positions who just got too big in comparison to me.
