Oddities, any ideas ?
I have an Ermor game on the go at the moment, bout turn 56, out of the blue a group of 6 ermorian cultists has appeared in the middle of jotun lands with about 15 ghouls and taken a province. no special event message, nothing, no mistaken troop movement...Now because I wasnt at war with jotun, its thrown a curve at my plans...anyone ever seen this before ?
One other thing. Does anyone know if its possible to cure the Tartarian Monstrums etc using faerie queen heal ?

The mere presence of Ermor or Pangaea (I don't think thare are any others) enables that kind of 'foreign invasion' event. You didn't get any 'event' message (besides the battle report) because the it actually happened to Jotunheim.

Nope. Only the Chalice and Gift of Health can heal undead and constructs.

The other bad deal about this event is that even if a player successfully wins the battle against Ermor the dominion still dies and switches in favor of Ermor.

Re: Oddities, any ideas ?
I thought that was supposed to be because of the nature of the event - it means that the cultists have been covertly building up an underground following, which when it goes overt, has an effect on the faith of the province, even if the defenders manage to defeat them soon afterwards.
I wonder if it can happen on turn one and dominion-kill someone who took Unluck-3... We probably would've heard if that had happened to anyone here...

Re: Oddities, any ideas ?
IIRC there's another one opposite against Ermor about Marignonites acting against Ermor, right?

Yes, there's one where Marignonites go berserk and start destroying everything undead, I.E., Ermor, which is basically like the Ermorian cultist event, but only happens to Ermor.

It could happen in theory, but is unlikely due to the nature of Dominion spread: Since that event only upsets dominion in one province, and doesn't actually serve as a source of dominion spread, if your dominion has spread to neighboring provinces, which it usually does, you'll remain alive, even if it were to happen in your capitol on turn 3-ish.
