Massing Immortals

So what would be the best way to mass em and what kinds of should I produce? I've heard that vampires are the ones to invest in. And please, no tactics involving Ermor.

If you rule out Ermor, vampires are about your only choice. Make Vampire Lords and have them create vampires for you.

well, i've has lots of demi-lichs on occasion, but i wouldn't normally just mass them

There's also, mmm, Wraith Lords, I think it is?

And then, of course, you can always play T'ien C'hi with a heavy luck scale - 3 immortal heroes eventually for free. (Hey, it isn't an Ermor plan! )

At 40 death gems each, 'tho, Wraith Lords aren't something to summon in bulk.

Vanheim's Fay Boars would also be an option.

Supplies, and a free arrow bait that comes back (a long ways from the front lines). If Helheim could recruit them, I could see their usefulness, since Helheim has a supply problem caused by the mandatory death scale, but ....

Then again, go Death 3 with the other 2 vanheim themes, and I guess them hawgs could be handy.

You wouldn't. You'd summon a couple/few, and then have them summon other, cheaper, nasty critters.

If you're just using an army of Fay Boars I don't think the front lines will actually be that far from your capitol.

Well, the Fay Boars might make progress if used with Mass Flight; that day, pigs would fly.

(Pork: It's what's for dinner, every day and every night because our thrice-cursed quartermaster has fay boars. I guess it might be better than broth day in and day out.)
