New WinSPMBT Release Planned?
I was just wondering if there are any plans for a future release, like a new patch or something. This is one of the best games I have ever played [speaking as a former Magach 6B Gal driver] and think you guys are great!!!

Re: New WinSPMBT Release Planned?
We're glad you like the game. We will be releasing WinSPWW2 sometime in the next couple of months then taking a bit of a break and then there will be a WinSPMBTv3 release probably sometime in September or October but it depends on a number of factors........we might even get it out earlier

Re: New WinSPMBT Release Planned?
If a V3 is released a couple of changes I would like to see is the removal of the tramlines in the map editor (if it hasn't been removed in the supplements already). I think a more important/relevent map graphic would be a "trail/path" graphic. Also if possible make it easier to choose the different types of industrial/fuel tanks for industrial icons. Keep up the good work guys, thanks!

Re: New WinSPMBT Release Planned?
I have NO intention of removing tramlines from the game.
Paths can be made placing a connecting line of earth through most terrains. It was coded and designed not only to be a base terrain but to allow those type of paths.

Re: New WinSPMBT Release Planned?
Here are more examples of mule-trails (by using earth type hexes).
Those trails give a big movement advantage when used in conjunction with rough surrounding terrain.
cheers,

Re: New WinSPMBT Release Planned?
Thanks for the reply. Those paths look pretty good, I'll try some in the next map I make. Thanks

This is great news Don, can you guys make it a stand alone v3 patch?...I mean, is that much trouble to do?, would be practical though, just two files to worry about

Re: New WinSPMBT Release Planned?
I'd need to check how much that would increase the size of the patch as all that does is penalize everyone who has been keeping up with the upgrades by giving them the same files they already have. If it's only a MB or two that's not a big deal but if it means the patch goes from 3 MB to 20 MB it is. There are very few people who would thank me for doing that
