How do you scrap a facility?
The remove button doesn't appear to work on the planet display screen, how do you get rid of a facility you no longer want or need?

Re: How do you scrap a facility?
Click on the planet, click Cargo Orders, click Scrap Cargo, click on the facility you want to scrap, click OK. Then click a few more times, just for fun.

Or press CTRL-K.

Thanks Guys
So how about retrofitting a ship with upgrades? Not the designs, that's easy to find. The manual tells me I can retrofit existing ships, but doesn't say how to.

Re: Thanks Guys
Select a ship, click Deconstruction Orders, click Retrofit. Or press CTRL-E with the ship selected.

Re: Thanks Guys
Thanks Phoenix. Sentry orders was a toggle in SEIV? Does not appear to be a toggle in SEV. I gave a ship sentry orders, went back to give it move orders, has the move orders but will not come out of sentry mode?
(OK you have to cancel all orders, toggle would be easier?)
P.S. I also discovered that if you have two or more ships selected the RETROFIT button does NOT light up and allow selection. That's going to get old real fast when trying to retrofit a large number of ships!

Re: Thanks Guys
It would also be nice to be able to change the ship name from the ship report window. Since the ship display at the bottom of the main window doesn't show the ship class it makes it tedious to go back to the ship list at the top to see which ships have been upgraded. I used to change the ship names in SEIV so that I could tell at a glance which ships had been upgraded. I'd like to hear how you folks are managing ship retrofits. Looks to be a chore at first glance.

Re: Thanks Guys
More interface mazes. It would seem that a common action like retrofitting would not be buried in button menus. I can understand hiding scrap facility under a hierarchy, but not retrofit. I guess we can always email MM

Re: Thanks Guys
The hot-key to retrofit a ship is Ctrl-E. Simple. What's not simple is retrofitting a number of ships at once. Something similar to the 'check list' window in SE IV has got to be added.
