I don\'t get it...
Downloaded the demo - was put off by the illustrations (fully armored knight rather than a gladiator), the nonsense names, and the battles, including one where the two opponents did nothing but kick and punch each other without ever using their weapons. Does the full game look and work appreciably differently, or is the demo just a good ad as to why one should not buy the full game.
Thanks,

Re: I don\'t get it...
Thank for you for playing the demo. We offer it just for this purpose, so that you can be sure the look and playability of the game meet your expectations. If you don't enjoy the demo, we don't recommend that you purchase the game. But again, we do appreciate you taking the time to give it a look.

Re: I don\'t get it...
FWIW, I was on the beta-testing team for Coliseum and enjoyed it quite a bit. It has fun, easy-to-pick-up gameplay, and (IMO) a good balance between detail and abstraction.
Nothing's right for everybody's tastes, though. Annette's right: if you didn't like the demo, don't worry about the full game.
