Hey that looks very interesting. A lot of people had to put up some serious $$ to produce this flick. Hopefully it will inspire Paramount/CBS/ViCom to get off their asses.

Trailer - Directed by Tim Russ - Starring some very familiar faces.
It doesn't appear to be a joke. Besides, what the hell, its about time we started to see some fan produced / well acted / low budge / made for web videos of star trek stories.
I thought it was an interesting concept. I look forward to seeing more.

I got the impression that the trailor is is a political statement by actors, directors, and creators that want to try to influence others.

They mentioned terrorists in one passing line, so clearly the whole thing is just a huge political statement about Iraq. Certainly not an actual attempt at a "fan" movie.
