Default recommended fire protection items?

I'm looking for recommendations for getting some fire resistance on my Niefel Jarls. Something forgeable with WAESDN is preferable.

Thanks all.

I don't think there are any fire resistance items forgable without fire gems, but I'm not sure.

If fire is okay, I would recommend two of the following to get 100% fire resistance: fire brand, charcoal shield, burning pearl.

Yeah you are out of luck without having any fire at all. If you had even 1F you could forge the Ring of Fire Resistance (100%) or the Burning Pearl (50%). Perhaps you should consider summoning/recruiting some mages with F. Or trading with a neighbor?

The only item I can think of off the top of my head that has fire resistance but (maybe) not fire is the Elemental Armor. Not sure what paths that is at all, so maybe it doesnt have fire.

Kinda a pity to give up a misc spot for fire resist. Elemental armor would be a better bet, methinks. Apparently it's E2F1.... I'll probably have to trade for it, unless I hit a lucky magic site soon.

You could wish for an item that gave fire protection but that would be a waste of a wish

Demon Bane gives protection from fire and costs 5 water gems.

Demon Bane! Good call, ologm. This is like dominions trivia night.

hunt11, wish, lol!! Also a good answer. I wish for a fire brand, hehe. That is one expensive fire brand.

Barrier (E4) gives 100%FR.
Calius's Robe (N2) gives 50%FR.
The Bell of Cleansing (W2) gives 50%FR. In some mods it's not an artifact.

The Fire Ward battle spell is W2E2, AOE15, and gives 100%FR.

hmm, yeah demon bane could be ok for a few of them. such a pity to use both arm slots on it though, especially when i already have so many frost brands made.

unfortunately i stand so little chance of getting any decent artifacts at this point i've decided not to waste my time getting cons8 until i really have nothing else worth going after

Elemental Armor should have a second version which is Air + Water, like the Staves of Elemental Mastery.
