Default New guy looking for experience!

Hi everybody. I just downloaded WinSPMBT earlier this month and I've been loving it. I'd really like the chance to play against a human opponent though. I'm willing to play a game just about any time, place, or nations, but I would prefer a smaller battle. So who wants to kick the crap out of a newbie?

Sounds like a good idea to me, we can flail around trying to figure out what we're doing together this way :P

So what would you prefer? I'm thinking smaller, more manageable battle. I prefer fighting in the 70's myself, but it's all good.

Yeah, a smaller battle would be fine. I would rather fight in 90-00 since its more fun(more stuff to fool around with)

Have fun guys now you have made contact its easier to exchange emails & sort out the bits & pieces. You can click on there name & send a PM (private message) if dont want to give it out.
Any problems shout but its the same as a game vs AI pretty much except select both players as human.
There is a sticky explaining in detail in the forum here http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=29661

I'd like to also welcome you both to our little world of obsession for these kind of games.

If only playing under a month,I wish you both luck.

MBT is a very hard game to master, even playing the AI.

Have you all considered WW2?,another excellent game not as flashy like modern warfare ,but eaiser to comprehend, and still a challenge in anyone's book.

If you get stuck and you may, many here will surely give some input.

Snahu/Toast,

I wuld echo Gila's sentiments - PBEM can be addictive. Give it a try!

If you encounter any problems flag them up here - someone will be able to help.

Okay, how about a 750 point game in the 1990's? Feel free to send me your email, or I'll send you mine next time I get a chance. I'd look more into how to get a PBEM game going now but I'm on campus and class is about to begin, haha.

Oh, also, what nation do you want to play as? Personally, I like playing Russia, I like their gear, but I'm open to a lot.

Just saw your post in the 90s 750pts wont get you many toys, an infantry company one tank & a few bits & pieces would be about it. A 90s MBT will cost 250-500 pts or there abouts depending on quality.

Hey,
How many points would you recommend for a good, but "small" battle in the 90's?
