Default few simple questions

1.If army patruls a province, does it take part in it's defence if attacked?
2. If there is a castle under siege, enemy army consist of 2 - movers, located on distance 2 (if it would be no siege, it would be able to move to it's castle) - can it use this move2 to get to the province, taken by enemies, with SIEGED castle? Or have to spend 2 moves - one to get closer and 1 for attack?
3.army placement. When I set tactical places for units , planning where they will be in the battle, where I'm prepearing for defence, does it mirrors? Or how it works?

2) An enemy army two provinces away from its besieged castle can attack the besiegers of its castle only if it can fly.
3) Top is always top, bottom is always bottom, and the right is always towards the middle.
