Editing Jomon
I want to do a custom version of Jomon, mixing some units and commanders from another Ages, including Ronins too.
Can anyone help me?
I have read the pdf manual but I am still lost!

Re: Editing Jomon
I moved the thread to the modding subforum, because what you require is a mod.
The question is, which PDF manual have you read? IF you bought the download copy of the game, the main game manual does not cover modding. For that, you need to look in the Dominions3installdir\doc subdirectory for the modding.pdf manual. If you have Windows and you patched to the newest game, you need to download the newest modding manual version separately, because it was accidentally left out of the patch.
The modding manual should answer most of the basic questions. At the very least it should allow you to ask specific questions about various modding subjects.

Re: Editing Jomon
Oh, and for reference material (unit numbers, weapon numbers etc), see the Dom3 DB document (linked from my sig).

Re: Editing Jomon
On advice when starting modding: look for existing nation mods, it will help greatly as the modding manual is very good as a reference, but lacking in the exemples department.

Re: Editing Jomon
Also, if you want some advice and help, it would also be helpful to register on the dom3mods forum. There is also an active modding community there.
http://z7.invisionfree.com/Dom3mods/
But remember that the dom3mods forum is the wild west. If you ask very stupid questions without looking in the mod manual first you are just as likely to be mocked as be helped.
IRC is also a great place if you have a quick question:

Good luck with your mod, looking forward to your results!

Re: Editing Jomon
From page 14 of the modding manual
7.10.13 #inquisitor
This monster has a bonus when preaching
against enemy Dominion. Its holy magic level
counts as double for this purpose. The monster
must have the #holy tag.
If you given them #holy and it still doesn't work make sure you have the latest patch.
