Default OT-Any Sci-Fi Trivia Geeks out there?

My Buddy decided to give his friends some custom made baseball Caps for Christmas this year. As Last night was the first time we were all together since Christmas he handed them out.

I thought I would try to stump you all with the message on my cap.
It Reads:

HMS HYDRA
CLAC-19

Bonus Sci-FI Geek points to whoever knows what this reference is....

Honor Harrington ship, I'd guess. Only series I've EVER seen to use the term "CLAC".

And here I thought the SciFi citations project had found the SE IV board. Let me put in a plug for others who will visit this thread:

The OED (Yes, Oxford English Dictionary) is soliciting help in tracking down the usage of unique Science Fiction words. Things like the use of 'android' (which goes back to 1727!) and 'robot' and 'dyson sphere' and all those other cool terms that we geeks trade amongst ourselves. Heavy readers of science fiction can help to find original uses, track the evolution of terms, and just accumulate usage background for scholarly work. Go to http://www.jessesword.com/SF/sf_citations.shtml to learn how to participate.

Title: Ashes of Victory
Author: David Weber
ISBN: 0-671-57854-5
Copyright: © 2000 by David Weber
Publisher: Baen Books

There were only a few T-years' difference in their ages, but Ashford, part of HMS Minotaur's original LAC wing and now the COLAC of HMS Incubus, had already enjoyed almost a year of hands-on training with actual hardware. Incubus was officially carried on the Ship List as CLAC-05, and she was rather closer to the original Minotaur in design than Hydra was. Not that the differences were pronounced, although Hydra, on a bit less tonnage, actually carried twelve more LACs. She paid for it with somewhat lower magazine capacity for her shipboard launchers, but given the fact that a LAC carrier had no business getting close enough to other starships to shoot at them (and be shot at by them), that was a trade-off Tremaine was perfectly happy to accept. But Hydra would be CLAC-19 when she finished working up in another month or so, and her own LACs were only beginning to arrive. Which meant that unlike Ashford, Tremaine and his wing had been forced to do almost all of their training in simulators.

Congratulations to Phoenix-D and Val.

You get to claim the Sci-Fi Geek Points
(although I think Val Deserves a few Bonus points for Dredging up the Book title, ISBN# and Quotation!)

I brought the hat into work here on casual Friday and not one person came close...but I figured it wouldn't be too hard for this forum.

I'll have to get a little more obscure next time...
