Last AI files for Aquilaeian Pyrochette for 1.49
Into the download forum, I have included the Last Versions for the Aquilaeian and Pyrochette AI's.
Both have lots of small tweaks, and IMHO, think that's good idea download it.
I'll not continue doing updates for the 1.49 Version.

Yes, Tesco Samoa. One Version of both races was included into the SEIV Gold CD (with the TDM races, of course).
Currently I have some updates for these Versions, but will post them after the Gold release.

I have a small complain about Pyrochette AI:
I had a very exciting start in my Last game, sandwitched between Pyrro and Torons. Both races declared war on me at once and I had to fight off constant invasions to my system. But when things become really tight and interesting, Pyrochette discovered temporal weapons.. Common, cruiser with temporal shifter II ! What chance does it have against even a destroyer with DUC V ? Well, actually I had some problems with Ionic dipensers, but nothing really major. I was way behind in technology and production, but this unfortunate Pyrochette ship design turned the tide of war in my favor.

First all, thanks for the input! Really is the only way to continue improving the AI races, because is not possible for only a person, cover all the possible variants.
The problem is that the Pyrochette use Missile III, before research Temporal Weapons. Good weapon in the early game but very weak against the humans after some turns: most of the humans like to research PDC fast and build PDC ships. Then, I think that the Pyrochette need to use a different weapon fast...
To fix this problem for the Aquilaeian decided to use DUC cannons, but wanted to keep the Pyrochette using Missiles, with the idea to keep differences between both races.
I tried to do a work-around to fix the problem, and then in the new Version (the posted Version), the Pyrochette will start to use Temporal Weapons after research the level 3 and after research the Cruisers.
Sure, the Time Distortion Burst III is not a great weapon: with Large Weapon-Mount can do 40 points of damage, but against races with shields is not so bad because have Quad damage against shields. Also, the Temporal Weapons 4 and BC are close in the research tree.
Anyway, maybe I'll try a different approach in the future, this is an open question.
