Default MobHack question

When, in the form (not the list), the unit name is underlined does that mean the unit is used somewhere in the scenarios. Conversely if it's not can I delete the unit? I wish to create a 6 man Stabs HQ Grp but there are no free slots and I do not want to affect any of the current scenarios.

The reason I want to do this is nearly all of the German Schutzen Kp have four Zug assigned too them, using one as the Kp HQ unit. I want to replace this unit for my campaign as it is more historic.

Default Re: MobHack question

it means its used as a placeholder in a formation and if you delete it you screw up any formation it's used in..

example German Unit 14 is a PzKw III M (medium tank ) and unit 15 is a PzKw III N (medium tank ) but unit 14 is underlined because it's used

unit 14 PzKw III M
Used in Formation 2 Pz Kompanie /17
Used in Formation 3 Pz Kompanie /14

You might want to read the MOBHack help file BEFORE diving in and learning the hard way

Info on what formations units are used in can be found by clicking on

FILE--> DATABASE CHECK UTILITIES---> TEMPLATE UNIT FINDER

From the MOBHack HELP file ( top left beside FILE

Quote:
Formation Checks- Template Unit Finder - Finds any Formations which use a specified unit as a Template unit. Template units are units which act as placeholders that may define the start of a unit class in a formation. i.e the earliest example of ( for example) a Main Battle tank in a Tank company.
