Germany OOB 16: wrong warhead size for weapon #135 and #136

Weapon #135 PzB 783(r) and #136 PzB 784(r) still have the old warhead size 2.

I guess, it`s the Fremdengerätnummer for the russian PTRS and the PTRD, which in the russian OOB have WH size 1.


And also a question. All anti-tank rifles have had their WH size reduced to 1 some patches ago. Did you increase accuracy for them? For some reason the german PZB 39 (weapon #88) has an accuracy of 34 while e.g. #135 PzB 783(r) only has 21.


I did some accuracy tests a while ago, and when I increased WH size of the ATR to 2, accuracy was much better. So maybe it should be increase for all of them.

Regarding accuracy of weapons, it is determined in a rather straightforward manner based on the relationship between barrel length and weapon calibre. The exact formula is specified in the Mobhack manual.

So do not expect any adjustments for accuracy values of anti-tank rifles.

Personally, I have not had any troubles with hitting enemy vehicles with anti-tank rifles. And in the early war games they can sometimes be surprisingly effective in actually hurting their targets.

Calibre Length, ( the effective length of the barrel (from breech to muzzle) divided by the barrel diameter is the Calibre Length value) is then divided by 4

so, a Panzerbüchse 39 has a Barrel length of 1085 mm and a barrel diameter of 7,92mm


1085 / 7.92 =136.99 /4 = 34.248 round down to 34

I know the formula, but I forgot that the PTRS had a diameter of 14.5mm, which is the reason for the difference (accuracy 34 for PzB 39 and 21 for PTRS)

Anyway, WH size of both german #135 and #136 should be 1.
