Hot key K

I own both games SPMBT and SPWW2 both are the CD versions.

The ingame help says the K key toggles ID tags.
It seems this doesn't work for me.

Is this a problem on my end or is this feature not working?

I did install all patches and al other hot keys do working.

It's possible to turn the ID tags on and off via preferences but this k key would be a nice feature.
