Default Lyran, Hydran, Gorn and other Trek races

I was looking around for some pics and came across a website that has a series of ship pictures that seem perfect for a SEIV shipset. The website is actually related to a Star Trek Starfleet Command game but that shouldn't matter. The owner of the site has created directories for each race. Inside the directory are numerous ship images. It really looks just like the way most SEIV modders display their ships.
But there is one problem. While the "bigger" picture for the ships is there, no "top-down" (ie combat) image exists. So....any graphically-inclined modders want to take a shot at it? In all fairness, I did try to talk to the website owner about the "top down" view but have yet to receive a response.
Here's the website link: http://www.darkdrone.perooz.com/Thu11s/feralyards.htm.
Just click on the appropriate race to get taken to the ship screen. It doesn't work for all the races. Anyway, I just thought some of you guys would want to know about this. Good luck!

Just a minor formatting error: your link has a "." at the end of it, so it does not work. Here is a working link:

Well, all you need is the game and a good graphics program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and you can create top-down shots using the game engine.

I don't think SFC has quite as many ship classes as SE4, but there are heaps of player-made ships for it, so ya, if people are willing to share, and someone wants to make the mini images, it's a good resource.

I do have all SFC games, no problem shooting images...
SFC has enough ship classes to make a good shipset for these races (it goes from Frigate to Dreadnought, with bases, but has no troops/weappalts/sats though)

In addition SFC uses standard 3D models that are viewable with shareware 3D softwares (I don't know anything more about 3D modelling ...)

Last there are a host of fan sites for this game, some could have top down shots, try a search on SFC webring.

Hey, I've just found I DO have a "Gorn Beta" shipset - made from an Gorn SFB style mod for SFC if someone understand !

I don't remember where I got it however, the readme only refer to the SFC Ghosts Shipyards site- and also speaks of a Kzinti set I never saw !

Anyone have some info about these ?

IIRC Atraikius is working on the Gorn/Kzinti shipsets (He of the Orks/Zorian fame). I know I have the beta ones (non-gold) around here somewhere. Try the races directory at Kuat Drive Yards, he has a listing for pretty much every shipset out there.

I have the Kzinti's ship set filled out (models are old Kzinti's froms Ghosts website), but ran into some trouble with the AI - does fairly well one game, but chokes miserably the next. Unless you really want it, I am waiting to put it back up until I have those problems worked out. The Gorns (old SFB design from Ghosts shipyards) are about 80% done, but trying to finish up the Kzinti's and Chaos (Battle Fleet Gothic) first. Have a start on the Lyrans (same as Gorns/Kzinti's), but they are going rather slowly as I am using they are one of the races I am working with my brother on to help him learn to make his own AI's.

Unless someone else gets to them first, my brother has started to assemble ship sets for the Hydrans, and SFB style Romulans.

If you check around the SFB sites there are programs for converting the Star Fleet Command models to formats usable by other 3D programs, and a program for viewing the models outside of the game. But I think using the simulator in the game is about the easiest.

Atraikius - how many beer tokens do I need to pay you and your borther to get these sets all finished?
