SW-map
Andre (or someone else),
How far is your sw-map from completion? If you stopped developing the map, could you send the Last Version to me so I can finish it.

Re: SW-map
I didn't continue with the map in my site but I'm still researching and putting everything into an Excel spreadsheet.
I'll try to post it soon.

Re: SW-map
Props to anyone who finishes that, it looks so good even as a bitmap.

Re: SW-map
I think the biggest problem while working on these fun map projects is the lack of functionality in the Map editor.
I'm glad we have a map editor mind you - but it really needs a "Generate Random System" command and easy to add warp points. It's just too freakin' hard to add all these items by hand for over 200 systems. Add these and I will personally finish this map and even make some custom planet pics for Corsucant etc...

Re: SW-map
On the Warp Points:
I've created a map that is a wee bit too strategic on chock points, and it order to do that, you need to connect lots of warp points.
Instead of doing hard confusing work on the Map Editor, I just create a map, make one UBERrace in it complete with stellar manip, no AI and go crazy on the warp points.
Easier this way: Point and click.
If anyone wants to see the map, give me your address and I'll send it to you; nothing special I might add, only it kind of resembles Suicide Junkie's Hyperspace map with a lack of asteroids in the quadrant

Re: SW-map
I just updated the new .xls Version.
I want to add more planets (to the current system or new systems). Damn 255 limit.
But if anyone volunteers to star copyng this into the map editor, you can start right now
