A question about races....
If I download various races from KDY or Universal Shipyards, etc. Do I unzip them into the standard SEIV directory or TDM? Are they "compatible" with TDM or is there even such a thing?
Thanks

Re: A question about races....
Both really. The TDM will use races for the TDM that are included in the patch. If you include them in the standard race folder as well, then the standard game and other games can use then as well.

Re: A question about races....
Yeah, what CNC said: TDM doesn't change data so is compatible (and vice versa) with "regular" SEIV. What the TDM masters did was really up the AI files to make a more challenging game.

Of course, if you put them in the TDM directory, they'll be a lot less challenging than the other AI's

Is that because they are not tuned for the TDM settings?

Is that because they are not tuned for the TDM settings? Not really. It's because the stock AIs are not developed nearly as well as the TDM AIs. The TDM-mod really only adds a few strats and formations, nothing more...
