it looks like its using standard SE4 components, I wonder if we can use standard SE4 MODs with it? and its an RPG! I wonder what that means, exactly. Think its going to be like TradeWars?

Guess it must be all those folks Aaron recruited - when he started on SE4, he was working alone, right? But then he started recruiting people...

edit: summer 2003 eh? wouldn't it be funny if this comes out before MOO3 it may not be SE5, but it's close...

wow... real 3D ships... in a SPACE EMPIRES game... just wait till SE5! wonder what those orange ships are, don't really look like any of the standard races...

Too bad some of those 3D planets and space stations look distorted still, pretty darn impressive!

Hm, we're now using the Stars! ship design formula, where you put items in slots? (See screenshot with description of Armor component)
