I like the name Machina. It makes me think of FFX. That is what they called Machines in that game. (Great game BTW ) It is indeed pronounced as you said just without so much emphasis on the "kee" part of it. It's more like Maw-ka-na.

As far as your HTML help. It has already been said but you can use just a normal text editor to make the site. I use Macromedia Dreamweaver for my websites, but I doubt you want to spend over $250 for a simple page.

I learned the basics of HTML, links, images, backgrounds, in roughly 5 hours. But I was a slow learner then. HTML is really easy to learn, and I'm sure you'll have no problem picking it up.
