Dogs do tricks because they're smart enough to do them
Cats dont because they're smart enough to realize they can simply NOT do it.

There had been a research. A cat learns a new trick in less than 5 minutes. It just doesnt want to use it. And yes, its verified, they used the neurons in brain to track the learning progress.
