Re: [OT] Technical problem (Resolved)
Can you ping the site (using "ping tescosamoa.com" from the MS DOS command prompt (run > cmd))? Have you tried clearing the browser Cache? Do you have any anti-adware programs or anything of that nature running? If so, try disabling them and see if maybe they decided that Tesco was an ad server.

Re: [OT] Technical problem (Resolved)
It is back Online (in the altered reality where I am living), as unexpectedly as it went down.
As for your suggestions Fyron, I tried what you proposed, to no avail. Ping was working fine, and the IP was recognized by my broswers. So truly, I don't have the slightest idea about the reason for this problem. It was not due to my provider, as the other computer was not experiencing any trouble, it wasn't due to the site itself, and my broswer wasn't responsible either. *Grumbling*

Re: [OT] Technical problem (Resolved)
I have had issues getting into it and SE.net before as well. It is as if my subnet or whatever was blocked. The issue usually resolves itself within a few hours or a day.

Re: [OT] Technical problem (Resolved)
Is it the same symptom? The site still appears as being alive, but it doesn't actually transfer anything. I had something similiar with SE.net, but the site could not be found there. It surged back a little while ago for me, after a small respite.

Re: [OT] Technical problem (Resolved)
I simply could not access either site. I think it has to do with sub nets and IP blocks or something like that. I really don't know. The Last time it happened was around the beginning of the month.
I visit SE.net at least once a day, and Tesco's site at least twice a week. So if the problem may or may not be more of an issue.
I simply don't know.

Re: [OT] Technical problem (Resolved)
It could be the same then. Although why would it work for a computer while it doesn't work for another one with the same broswer, the same computer, at the same moment and in the same location?
Oh well, figuring out *why* it doesn't work is probably nigh impossible. So I will instead trust my luck to avoid these surges of the malevolent fiend, who is lurking inside my computer. (Isn't that the premise of informatics? Erh, perhaps not.)
