I'm at work now, so will try this when I get home. My wife had just burned a large number of pictures on a cd, and it might be in the reader. Didn't have any problem before that. I hope this is the problem, because I don't relish reinstalling everything.

I knew I could count on this community for great help. That's one of the reasons I stick around...
