Re: The Misadventures of the Missed Adventurers
ooc:[Let's see - D was always the well-supplied one, he would likely have a canteen handy.]
Thinking quickly, D opens his canteen and throws it at a flying lightning bolt. They collide, and the water vaporises, sending the canteen flying. However, the resulting water vapor in the air grounds out the remaining lightning.
ooc:[I'd have him use a snowball, but one wasn't handy....]
Jack "Langsame Zeit"
With that, a thin green web stretches over the mage, and he slows down considerably. After a moment, the web fades, but the mage is still moving slowly.
Meanwhile, the Last of the energy leaves the spheres, and a rumble can be heard.
D "It seems that the engeneers took shortcuts relying on the stabilizing effect of the spheres to take up the slack. We really must be going."
Jack "Agreed."
With that, D and Jack start heading towards the exit with great haste.
ooc:[The mage won't be able to react in any reasonable amount of time, so it will probably be much safer to leave him and run than to continue fighting in a collapsing cave. Which way will the minotaur go, do you think?]
