at least 3 different "fixed map files" on that site...

and after looking at the map, isnt it a little big for 10 people?

Mind you, there is a very fixed one below the first two "fixed" versions. Is it that one?

okay. i feel bad treating you all like you are in kindergarden, but let's put it this way. follow that link. then hit ctrl+f. then type in (as written above)"Download map with fixed map file: cradle.zip."...then see what you find.

As you should feel. Clearly there is room for interpretation if two of your fellow players in addition to myself are questioning? I will wait for Kontra to explicitly state what he wants used instead of starting a game based on an assumption.

the reason i think that is because he used the EXACT WORDING, including punctuation, that was on the page. that makes me think that he probably copy/pasted the one he was referring to. then again, he also could have gone in and c/p'ed the map that he wasn't referring to, but if that's the case, i would like to state that i still don't think i'm the idiot here

I might have to change my vote PBM. I just realized I can't connect to Ironhawk's server it appears ... and probably not any server for that fact. =(

Yes, the map is fairly large. You probably want some kind of victory condition (like VPs or maybe about 45-50% provinces) to keep the game from going on too long.

However, ten players on this map is quite comfortable, especially for a bunch of new players. Everybody will have lots of elbow room and can take out a bunch of independants before having to worry about any human players.

I like the map because it is so darn pretty!

the issue was sorted out with kissblade. after hours of trouble shooting, the issue was that he was typing in the IP address with the numpad. so that means ironhawk can host, and i believe the game goes up tomorrow!....so probably get your gods in asap after that.
