A benefit, apart from reducing processor need, of fighters being merely images is that I can just paste Raiders into the unit texture.

Re: 4th SE5 Shipset: Battlestar Galactica
Is that picture in the first post the updated one for v1.5? I don't see any improvement. It is certainly nice to see new ship sets but this one seems so "rushed". I hope that is not the direction ship sets for SE5 are starting to take. You know, rushing them out so you can be #1? Personally I don't see myself using this set until it gets cleaned up. Hope that doesn't offend anyone, if it did I apologize now in advance. I am just trying to be honest and up front. That is not a ship set that inspires me like the last ones.

The dreadnought was not one of the updated models.

Re: 4th SE5 Shipset: Battlestar Galactica
I was wondering about that. 3d ground models do include buildings don't they? So not only must the troops now be 3d, but so must everything else?
The nice thing is one can export very nice models out of EAW, but without a bone editor, the troop images can not be modified so that their arms don't stick out to the sides.

Re: 4th SE5 Shipset: Battlestar Galactica
The only complaint i have is the heavy fighter. The raptor?....If i were you id switch the heavy fighter pic to light, ligth to med, and med to heavy *Anyone who watched the show knows the ones shows in light and med do most fighting...just makes sence in my eyes*

Don't get too lazy. I think the 3D models are used during ground combat.
