Re: ShipSet Makers, please read - you\'ve been robb
The guy that did State of the Art Shipyards, I wonder what happened to him. He was a fairly nice guy. That is from his Starship Troopers set (gotta love chrome!)
I'm not too worked up about it, I'm awaiting an email back. As for Eliana Tamerin, I did catch him earlier this year using people's art without permission which I resolved with his ISP. I tend to view his participation in this matter differently.
All I'm gonna ask is that they provide credit to the authors of the art are using and maybe a link to this forum or something. To me, this isn't a really that serious. It's clear it's a fan site and I don't think anyone in charge there intended to wrong anyone here, but I want to confirm my suspicions about this incident.

The only thing worse than having your art stolen is not having your art stolen.

I think he is trying to say the artist(s) should be flattered they thought it worth stealing.

And he's paraphrasing Monty Python at the same time.

That's interesting. What 'sketch' would that be? And if so, then they are paraphrasing Oscar Wilde.
"There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."
-- Oscar Wilde (1854-1900), spoken by Lord Henry in The Picture of Dorian Gray, ch. 1 (1891).
Edit: 4001 posts! Gosh, I've got less than 1/2 as many as SJ...

Ah, I didn't realize it was an exact quote in the sketch.
Here's a transcript with surprisingly few typoes for a geocities site:
