here is a map of the battle. the difficult terrain made the english attack very slow and they send in wave after wave into the city were they were attcked by a 3 unit stack that didnt get return fire the whole scenario. somehow the ai missed to shell my platoon in the village. he was to busy bombarding my mortars on rough ground and managed to route one of them at the end of the battle.
my core mortar squad abadoned its equipment and watched the shells fall on their mortar position then they went back and started firing again.
