Tharsonius: Ah, that would explain it
Aapeli: It's the aegis, an unique shield that gives medusa petrification. Only one of them have it though. Never tried it before but it was really scary to see the effect on your templars
Yeah, I really like those lesser horrors. They only cost nine slaves and my Norns can cast them with an astral and a blood booster. They're really good against province defence
Your strong flying commanders are a real pain as well. I think that your god and vampire counts was my biggest trouble. Without them I could have immobilized your armies with infernal disease. |

Ah the vampires. My favourite commanders. They are sneaky, flying and can lead up to 80 rangers behind enemy lines (wich I was about to do but then my capital was conquered ). The virtue god was a bit experimental. An air mage is not so usual with Ulm.

Never knew the aegis was that powerful . I guess the only defend from it is magic resistance. |

It seems to me that Ulm is simply not as good as the other nations in this game. Your mages can't really compare and your troops, while though, have low MR. |

The forces of the Nature will join the nations of Ulm, Ctis and R'lyeh in their desperate battle against Utgard. I hope we'll have a glorious death.
To Utgard: we have a NAP3 so this war won't begin before turn 66.

To Tienchi: what are you waiting for? I don't think you realize that Utgard is even a lot stronger than what the graphs are showing.

 | It seems like another " let's gang on that guy "has just taken place. It is very amusing and clever
Here, Tien Chi declares war on "the forces of the Nature" , this will be a "desperate battle" as well We have a NAP3 so this war won't begin before turn 66...

Unfortunately Ulm is probably destroyed before turn 66 (my castles defences already down). But we shall do all we can to make the giants lives more difficult (one attack already deflected. And a werewolf down too ). |

 | to quote myself...

I think it's to late to stop Utgard. And it looks like Tien Chi wants him to win.
All you can do now is to throw everything an Utgard. Ignore Tien Chi, he can't even take that one lonely island
Ctis is helping Utgard in his own way, by taking out my fortresses underwater (something Utgard can't do)

ahhh, soon I will be out of this crazy game and its erratic diplomacy |

 | More like two attacks. It was harder to kill you then I thought.
One of the werewolves you killed had flying boots so I could easily have gotten him to safety... if he hadn't decided to go insane four turns in a row. I was watching in dismay as his retreat was cut of. Now in hindsight I should have sent a scout to him and tried to sneak out his equipment.

I think you all underestimate Tien Chi, he seems like a good player |
