Spyware in new patch??

I'm sure that it was a misidentification. I just fixed the problem. I reinstalled, re-patched, and ran as administrator. This time it ran okay.

What probably happened was that they noticed the Snake Charmer mercenary leading militia was called Putin, and they hacked the game files to keep tabs on Dom3 players as a potential threat to national security.

You need to do a proper scan on your system. If Spybot detected something as being bad news, chances are you have some malware turning other files into bad news including those dominion files. Run one of the many freeware virus scans out there like AVG free edition, you may have something serious going on with your PC.
