Re: Save the Juprups!
Now only if installing SE4 1.49 hadn't made SE Gold run like crap

Re: Save the Juprups!
And the legendary Phoenix-D returns from the isle of death in the Juprup's most dire hour of need...
Now there's some irony for you....
EDIT: So, I take it that you found your v1.49 CD...

I've currently got 1.49, Gold 1.60, and Gold 1.67 installed, and haven't noticed any performance hit at all.
Have you tried the usual turn CD music on/off, etc.?

Re: Save the Juprups!
I didn't change a *thing* in SE4 Gold, and it's the one that's really jerky. Mouse movement jerky, delayed menu activation, missed clicks, the whole 9 yards.

Re: Save the Juprups!
I don't suppose SE4 uses any external DLLs that have changed between the two Versions...
Some common registry or other settings?

Re: Save the Juprups!
I'm not sure the reason, but my Gold install suffered performance hits after 1.49 install. Problem solved by reinstall of Gold. Hope that helps.

Back on topic:
Alas, the Juprup's Messiah proved to be false. Yet still they watch the starts, waiting for the day that their true Messiah shall descend from the heavens to lead them.
Replacement player needed.
