Well, since I am a somewhat casual player and want to get some experience with a nation I've not yet played and though I generally like to try the underdog nations in an era, maybe I'll try won of the "power" nations. Accordingly, I'll finalize my nation choice and bid with Sauromatia with the minimum # of unspent points.
As for captains choosing players, my inclination would probably be to choose the most experienced or energetic of the available noobs, but I have no preferences really. If there's going to be no particular system for the choosing other than agreement of players, I'll go ahead and recruit (if they agree) say:

Be aware my play/leadership style in this game will likely be rather laid back with an emphasis on exploration, learning, and having fun.
I can certainly set up those 3 forums for the teams. It might be convienient, as some players will already have login's there. Anyone new joining, would just use the same username as here so I know who you are.
Would still like to get some links for the mods in the game posted on the opening post Chris. I have CBM, but not the others. Thanks.
