New game is recruiting volunteers on Dom3mods forum: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Dom3mods/index.php?showtopic=1363
This is a special game with quite specific properties, so sign in if you like all these properties:
* high-commitment game
* for newbie-intermediate players
* no-diplomacy anonymous game
* relaxed, delay-tolerant schedule

1) It is a high-commitment game.
Not some casual or "fun" game.
It is expected from players to do their best, strive to be competitive. Going AI without preliminary coordination with admin is not tolerated. If you suddenly realize that you have no chances to win the game or losing - set another less ambitious goal for yourself: survivance, revenge, something else. But it is expected that it is player's responsibility to attempt to be competitive and take it seriously.

2) It is a game for players of "newbie-intermediate" skill.
General selection criterion of "newbie-intermediate" players in this game is:
those who did well in newbie games (in a whole) AND reached lategame being one of victory-pretending powers several times, but didn't manage to achieve victories yet

!! Pay attention that it is not commonly accepted definition. Sometimes such a skill level is referred as just "intermediate".
If you have problems regularly (often) reaching endings of newbie games in competitive position or if you have no MP experience - it is probably not applicable for you. At the same time if you not only feel yourself easy in "newbie" league, but also had some victories there, not just surviving to the end in newbie games, but winning them - then you are in another, "intermediate" league, so it is not probably applicable for you as well.

These criteria should select relatively new players, who at the same time play consistently better than pure newcomers or those who are totally inexperienced in MP.
Proposed gap is quite narrow, what creates heavy difficulties with recruitment. Probably it will be impossible to gather medium game, and it would be something small (6 players or something like that).

Idea behind this limitations is to ensure that people of equal skill join the game, what should make the game more competitive.

3) It is a no-diplomacy anonymous game.
No communication, interaction and coordination of any kind with other players is permitted.
Whether it will be RAND game, or AND game, and what will be the type of RAND/AND - is a subject for discussion.

4) This is a game with relaxed, delay-tolerant schedule.

I intentionally omit (so far) mentioning all usual properties of the game: map, mod, number of players, era, etc etc. Partially because some of them are not defined yet.
But mainly because aforementioned properties are the most important, so I'd like to underline it.
More details of the game is in the http://z7.invisionfree.com/Dom3mods/...showtopic=1363 thread.

I will answer on all the questions here and provide necessary explanations, but the main game's thread will be on Dom3mods forum (it is too cumbersome to handle the game in two places), so if you plan ot join it and sign in - ultimately you'll have to register there.

How to delete a thread you just created?
I edited the header message and somehow the thread became replicated. I fail to find a tool within forum's interface to delete the copy
